Hi,
my name is Linda and welcome to my website. I thought I'd just give you a small insight into who I am. Being nosy, whenever I visit a site, I always like to see who people are and what they look like and it's never what I imagine!
This site is dedicated to my love of all things crafty, nowadays miniatures have taken over completely, but over the years I've done everything from dressmaking, embroidery, to soft furnishings . This was meant to be a nice easy way of relaxing after a busy day's work, but it's sort of snowballed over the past couple of years and now I feel as if I have two full time jobs.
I started by making a few pairs of curtains for my dollshouse, and thought I'd have a look on ebay to see if I could find some swags and tails. At the time there were none so after a few dodgy pairs I managed to make some which I though were half decent. I still have the pics. on my PC and I must say they are pretty horrific. Making curtains 5 inches wide is completely different from full size. Having mastered the swags and tails, or so I thought, I put a few pairs on ebay, and that was it, they went very well, and touch wood still do but it was getting a bit boring so now its beds, dressing tables, stools and anything else made with fabric.
Today ebay is inundated with all sorts of mini soft furnishings, some fantastic, and some which are unbelievably bad. I do try and make the best quality I can, and put a great amount of thought, time and detail into each piece. My prices are, I hope, reasonable, there will always be less expensive pieces around, but my aim is to make for the discerning collector.
